Day 4 of 24

Hi everyone!

So today I am feeling great! I weighed myself today, and I am down 2.5lbs. I am so pumped! Today is day 4, and instead of the cleanse drink to have with breakfast, I will be taking the probiotic supplement. I am drinking another brand of protein shake so I don't run out of my AdvoCare shakes (they only give you 14). I have to say that it feels really good knowing I can stick to a great meal plan, and see results. Once you get the hang of eating, and grocery shopping for healthy foods it becomes easier and easier. Last Decemeber is when I made a 180 with my eating habits, and started to eat healthy! The process of changing my food now for the challenge, was simple for myself. I used to treat myself on the weekends, but I'm staying strict with myself on the challenge. Since August 2011 I am down a total of 26 pounds. As of this year I am down a total of 16 pounds. I truly believe in taking the weight off slowly so it won't come back. I have maintained my weight loss for 11 months now, and just really wanted something to push me a bit more to get to my goal weight. I wanted to lose a total of 30lb this year, and to keep it off. I only have 14 more to go, and I hope I can reach my goal when I am done with my challenge. :)

Day 3 of 24

Hi everyone!

So today seems to be a better day! I'm so proud of myself for not cheating at all in 3 days of this cleanse. My stomach feels much better today as well. Although I had a bit of a headache yesterday and today, but I think it was a mix of the detox and allergies. Towards the end of the day today, I started to get a bit annoyed. I think it was because I was hungry, and tired from work. Tomorrow is weigh in day yay! :)

Meals: lots of water with each meal and between each meal

Breakfast: Sparks, 30 minutes later drank fiber drink, followed by protein shake.

Snack: Honeydew and plain Greek yogurt

Lunch: Small spring mix salad, drizzled with balsamic, and 2 pieces of grilled chicken, and side of green beans, zucchini, and asparagus

Snack: Apple

Dinner: Smoked chicken, side of veggies, and grilled potatoes. We went out to dinner, and this was my healthy option, since it was a bbq smokehouse! :)

Day 2 of 24

Hi everyone!

So today is day 2 of my challenge. Yesterday ended with a success, and I didn't cheat once! I did feel tired this morning when I woke up today. The spark drink helped with that! Today my stomach feels a little off, but that could be due to the crazy amount post nasal drip I have going on. *Update: Felt better as day went on! I have already walked 2 miles today, and chasing a 2 year old all day for your job gives you a workout as well. I am totally loving the mocha protein shakes. They are delicious. I'll keep you all updated at the end of my day, and let you know how today goes! So far so good!

Meals:

First got up: Thyroid medication andadenral  medication

30 minutes later: Sparks energy drink

Breakfast: Fiber drink and protein shake

Snack 3 hours later: Plain Greek yogurt and honey dew slices

Late Lunch: Spring mix, tuna, balsamic vinegar dressing, pinch Celtic sea salt, pinch pepper, and orange. Drank 24 ounces of water as well.

Dinner: Lime and basil marinaded grilled chicken breast, asparagus, zucchini, and green beans. All veggies were grilled using Celtic sea salt, freshly ground black pepper, and coconut oil.

Late night snack: One medium (size of golf ball) tomato and small Courtland apple

Day 2: Workout listed below. My favorite thing to do is walk the little boy I nanny for in his stroller. Pushing a stroller is extra weight added to your regular walking. Today we walked and did some errands as well.

Favorite products so far:

Sparks (OMG the energy from this is amazing! It's equal to one cup of coffee, without the crash after. I felt a bit shaky after drinking. This is because I have not had any caffeine from a beverage in almost a year!)

Mocha Protein Shake: Taste is amazing. Sweeter than I thought it would be, but delicious! I want more!

Workout for today: I have posted a picture below of my workout summary for today. I use an app called RunKeeper on my iPhone. It is amazing and free! It also paused half-way through my walk, and I didn't realize for 20 minutes!

So far it is halfway through my day, and I feel awesome. I have not crashed yet, or had any tummy issues.

Please advice that I am to fully following the first 10 day cleanse meal. I have been eating healthy for almost a year, and wanted to stick to my normal eating plan to keep my weight off. The first 10 days suggests no carbs.

Food I've consumed today since 8 A.M. Plus lots of water!

1.) Breakfast: AdvoCare Protein Shake with my own supplements

2.) 2-3 hours later Plain Greek yogurt and apple slices

3.) Lunch: Whole apple, plain tuna, spring mix, pinch of Celtic seasalt (helps with electrolytes), pinch pepper, and organic/handmade local balsamic vinaigrette!

4.) Snack 2 hours after lunch: String cheese, orange, and water
